Welcome to The Laid Back Bride! By using our site (tlbbride.com), booking an appointment, or purchasing from us, you’re agreeing to the terms below — they help protect both you and us, so we can keep things running smoothly.

2 – Appointments & Bookings

In-person appointments carry a $30 booking fee, which is payable at the time of booking and non-refundable. However, this fee can be credited towards the purchase of any design.

Virtual consultations are free of charge and are a great option if you're shopping from a distance or just starting your bridal journey.
Please arrive on time (or log in on time!) and provide accurate contact information so we can keep things running smoothly. We reserve the right to reschedule if needed — but we’ll always do our best to give you a heads-up.
3 – Made-to-Order Products & Deposits
Our gowns are handcrafted and made-to-order especially for you.

A 50% deposit is required at the time of purchase, with the remaining 50% due at pickup or when your gown is ready to be shipped.

If you prefer to pay in full upfront, you’ll receive a $100 discount.
Because gowns are made just for you, all sales are final and non-refundable unless deemed faulty under Australian Consumer Law. We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind, incorrect sizing, or changes to your wedding plans.
Please double-check your measurements and reach out if you’re unsure before placing your order.
Cancellations:

Orders for custom sizes and custom designs are non-cancellable and non-refundable unless faulty.

For standard made-to-order gowns, cancellations are not possible once your order has been placed. Please refer to our full Policy for details.
4 – Products
Our veils are handcrafted and made-to-order.

Veils are treated as custom items. For this reason, we do not accept returns, refunds, or cancellations once an order is placed, unless the item is deemed faulty.

Please choose carefully and reach out if you’d like guidance on style, length, or colour before ordering.
5 – Sample Sale Gowns
Sample sale gowns are sold as-is and may show minor signs of wear due to being tried on in our studio. These items are heavily reduced and final sale — we do not accept returns or refunds on sample sale purchases.
We recommend reviewing the product description carefully and contacting us with any questions before purchasing. Additional photos and fit guidance are available upon request.
6 – Faulty or Damaged Items:
If your item arrives damaged or faulty:

Contact us within 72 hours of delivery at letstalkbridal@tlbbride.com with clear photos.

We’ll organise a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the fault and timing — for example, whether there’s enough time before your wedding for a repair or replacement.
Notes:

Faults refer to manufacturing defects or damage incurred prior to or during delivery.

Issues resulting from wear, alterations, or improper handling after delivery are not covered.

International customers: The 72-hour window begins once tracking shows your parcel as delivered. Please inspect your gown or veil promptly upon arrival.
If a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method, minus any non-refundable payment processing fees.
7 – Shipping
We ship worldwide so brides everywhere can access our curated collection.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. We offer free shipping Australia-wide and to New Zealand (excluding veils and sample sale items).

Shipping insurance: Every gown order includes complimentary transit insurance up to $1,500 AUD, along with tracking and signature on delivery. Veil orders are shipped with tracking (no signature). If your gown is valued above $1,500 AUD and you’d like additional coverage, contact us before shipping and we’ll provide a quote.

Processing: Orders are processed within 1–2 business days.

Production times: Gowns (Katy Corso up to 12 weeks | Nataliya Vilchuk up to 8 weeks); Veils (up to 4 weeks); Sample sale items (ready to ship).

Delivery: Please allow up to 5 business days for delivery in addition to production times.

International orders: Customs duties, taxes, or import fees are set by your country’s customs office and are not included in our pricing. These are the buyer’s responsibility and may be charged upon delivery. We are not privy to how or when they are applied by couriers. Customs delays are outside our control and may affect delivery. Refusal to pay these fees does not entitle you to a refund.
Lost or delayed shipments
While we don’t control parcels once they’re in the carrier’s hands, we’ll always assist where we can to help resolve any delivery issues.

Damaged items: Notify us within 24 hours with photos.

Missing parcels: Notify us within 3 business days of the expected delivery date.
We’ll guide you through the claims process (up to 30 business days). If a claim is approved, we’ll offer a replacement (time permitting) or a refund, minus non-refundable shipping/processing fees. If denied, we’ll still aim to find a fair outcome — this may include a partial refund or a discount on another purchase as a goodwill gesture.

8 – Third-Party Services
Sometimes we use tools or apps from third-party providers (like booking apps or payment gateways). These services have their own terms, so make sure you’re comfortable with those too. If you leave our site through a third-party link, we’re not responsible for what happens on their end.
9 – User Conduct
Please don’t use our site in any way that’s unlawful, offensive, or abusive. We want this to be a safe, positive space for all.
10 – Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, The Laid Back Bride will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. This includes delays, loss of income, or disappointment due to shipping disruptions or changes in wedding plans.
11 – Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to fulfil obligations due to events beyond our control (e.g. natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemic-related disruptions, or courier strikes).
12 – Digital Communication Consent
By interacting with our website or making a purchase, you consent to receive transactional emails and updates regarding your order. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
13 – Privacy
We take your privacy seriously. Please refer to our full Privacy Policy to understand how your personal information is collected, used, and protected.
14 – Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time, so it’s a good idea to check back occasionally. If anything major changes, we’ll do our best to notify you on the website or by email.

Made-to-order: A gown or veil created specifically for the customer after an order is placed.

Custom design: A gown that includes customisations to an existing style based on customer requests and/or a one-of-a-kind gown created from scratch.

Custom size: A gown made using measurements outside of standard sizing charts.

Faulty: A manufacturing defect or damage incurred before or during delivery that makes the item not fit for purpose.

Goodwill refund: A refund offered voluntarily outside of legal obligation.
