Welcome to The Laid Back Bride! By using our site (tlbbride.com), booking an appointment, or purchasing from us, you’re agreeing to the terms below. They’re here to keep things clear and protect both you and us.

1 – General Terms 
By using this website, you confirm that you’re at least 18 years old or have a parent’s/guardian’s permission. Please don’t use our site for anything illegal or unauthorised.

2 – Appointments & Bookings
We offer bridal appointments in person and virtually.

  • In-person appointments carry a $30 booking fee, which is payable at the time of booking. While non-refundable, this fee can be credited toward the purchase of any design.

  • Virtual consultations are free of charge. Please arrive on time (or log in on time!) and provide accurate contact information so we can keep things running smoothly.

3 – Ordering & Payments
Our gowns, veils, and merchandise are handcrafted and made-to-order especially for you.

  • Deposits: A 50% deposit is required at the time of purchase, with the remaining 50% due at pickup or before your order is dispatched. (Pay in full upfront to receive a $100 discount).

  • Finality of Sale: Because our items are handcrafted and made-to-order, all sales are final and non-refundable once your order has been placed. We cannot accept cancellations, refunds for change-of-mind, incorrect sizing, or changes to your wedding plans. Items are only eligible for a return or refund if they are deemed faulty under Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Please double-check your measurements and style choices carefully before ordering.

4 – Product Guidance
Because all items are made-to-order, we are unable to offer returns or cancellations once your order has been placed. We want you to be 100% happy with your choice, so please reach out to us at letstalkbridal@tlbbride.com for guidance on style, sizing, or colour before you place your order.

5 – Sample Sale Gowns 
Sample sale gowns are sold as-is and may show minor signs of wear. These items are final sale — we do not accept returns or refunds. We recommend reviewing the product description carefully and contacting us with any questions before purchasing.

6 – Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
We take great pride in the quality of our pieces and the care taken during shipping.

  • Manufacturing Faults: If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, please contact us at letstalkbridal@tlbbride.com as soon as possible. Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for the process regarding product quality and defects.

  • Transit Damage or Loss: If your parcel arrives damaged or is lost in transit, this is managed under our Shipping Policy. Please notify us within the timeframes specified in that policy so we can initiate the insurance claims process.

  • Resolution: For any confirmed fault or transit loss, we will work with you to provide a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. In the event of a major failure, a full refund will be processed to your original payment method.

7 – Shipping
We offer worldwide shipping options. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. We offer free standard shipping on all full-priced gowns Australia-wide and to New Zealand.

  • Full Insurance: Every order is fully insured for the total purchase price against loss or damage in transit.

  • Tracking & Signature: All orders are sent with full tracking and require a signature upon delivery. 

  • Customs & Duties: International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees. These are the buyer’s responsibility and are not included in our pricing.

8 – Third-Party Services
Sometimes we use tools or apps (like booking platforms or payment gateways). We aren't responsible for the practices of these third-party services, so please review their terms if you have concerns.

9 – User Conduct
Please keep our site a safe, positive space. Unlawful, offensive, or abusive conduct is not permitted.

10 – Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, The Laid Back Bride will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services, including delays due to shipping or changes in wedding plans.

11 – Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to fulfil obligations due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, or courier strikes).

12 – Privacy & Communication
We take your privacy seriously. Please refer to our Privacy Policy to understand how your data is handled. By interacting with us, you consent to receive transactional emails regarding your order.

13 – Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. If anything major changes, we’ll post a notice on our website.
